Little Pink Ruger

Today I feel like Kalishnikitty!

I do have Kalishnikitty in a window sticker for Carmyne (my car) though I have not placed the sticker in the window yet. HK with an AK is AWESOME!

Some days I feel like her (minus the well endowment of course). I feel like the lady in red from the Matrix though I'm usually well armed.

Let me introduce you to the newest member of my family. Little pLinkY.

I added a Bushnell 3-9x32mm scope to pLinkY to make her look more "real". Now she is perfect! I bought her on Saturday just after the gun show at GRB. I had her on hold at Collector's. I was beside myself awaiting the chance to bring her home. Stripped her down for a good first cleaning, reassembled with scope. And now I'm ready to head to the range.

For those not familiar with rifles, pLinkY is a Ruger 10/22.

I decided on that rifle based off of recommendations by a really cool coworker of mine that I trust his opinion a lot. Thanks a million D for the suggestion. When I picked up this little ruger, I knew I would also need to get a rifle bag. I got a simple one from Academy that is 1/2 pink and 1/2 woodland camo. It's great. While searching for a picture of it to upload here to the blog, I found the following rifle bag. And now I have a new item on my wishlist...

How totally cute is this rifle case?
And the final item added to my wishlist today is this 'cute' pink rifle. LOL! So many pink guns, so little cash flow, oh I mean time!

Happy 30th - YA YA YA YA YA

We arrived here Friday around dinner time. This is Johnny G's in Dallas. It is awesome!
I did not realize there was a surprise celebration planned. Johnny's is a usual stop for us when we go to Dallas because it is just that cool. So I didn't think anything different of this time. When the lights started to flicker, I secretly thought to myself, "John, did you forget to pay the light bill???" Ha ha ha ha ha!

Once the lights stopped flickering, a cake emerged from the kitchen, and folks started singing Happy Birthday to me. On a scale of 1 to 10 on the coolness of a cake, this has got to be a 100. It has every element of everything I like. 1. Hello Kitty; 2. Motorcycle; 3. Hello Kitty's YA YA YA YA YA; 4. Pink; 5. Designed by the coolest sis-in-law in the world; 6. Bandanna; 7. Sunglasses; 8. Total Surprise!

This is some extreme precision and extreme concentration. This is 1/2 a sheet cake, 1/2 chocolate, 1/2 vanilla. It was super yummy. We shared with at least 1/2 the restaurant. Folks around us were reminiscent of the days when they were 30 and how mortified they would have been to have the world singing Happy Birthday to them at 30. I thought it was all fantastic. It was a total surprise! And the shots that kept getting sent to me made me very happy :-) *arm up in the Hello Kitty attack* YA YA YA YA YA! Remember, folks up in Dallas have got to check out Johnny G's.

Next I'll post the pic from Six Flags.

I have seen it all

Thanks to Brian for sharing with me something I never knew existed, and now that I've seen it, I can leave this life fulfilled :)

And you're probably asking is this thing for real...
I might have to get me one of these just for the novelty factor. I wanna give props where props are due. This was found in the blog:

I luv kitty

The weekend following my birthday, I headed up to Dallas to hang with 2 of the coolest people on planet Earf, my bro and sis-in-law. They are so much fun! We played a crash 'em up, burn 'em up, destroy 'em car game on his new ps3 - FUN! We attempted to watch Norbit - LAME! We shopped at the Galleria. I got to replace the missing nose piece on my Oakley's and discovered they have a new AWESOME pair of pink shades there. Oh, it was torturous not purchasing them.

On Saturday, when we were coming back from shopping, we stopped by an amusement park and raced each other in go-carts. Oh it was fun! Then we headed home...to eat CAKE. A Hello Kitty, double layer Chocolate Cake. YUMMY! On, and I love Hello Kitty, have since I was old enough to walk.

I went into kitty-gasm when I visited Tokyo Japan a few years back and got to see Hello Kitty shops almost the size of Wal-Mart. It truly was Hello Kitty Heaven.

I was also given a Hello Kitty Towel and Hand Towel. They are both adorable.

And finally there is the Hello Kitty Lunch Box. This thing rocks! Then there is the pink camo thermos. Okay, I can die now. My life is complete.

Oh, wait, not yet, my pipes haven't arrived for my bike. I feel like I'm trying to get thru to an operator that services myspace pages...and we all know how long it takes to load a myspace page, imagine how long it would take an operator to "trouble shoot" the problem. HA HA HA!

Mo was quite talkative this trip too. He's so silly! You can see he is talking to me while I'm taking his picture.
